The basic M10 kit I received came extremely well packaged as you would expect from a Haida product. In the kit is included:
- 1X storage pouch for the holder with microfiber lining and a small pocket for Drop-in filters.
- 1X aluminium holder
- 1X Drop-in with CPL
- 1X Drop-in that acts as a light barrier when no other Drop-in is applied
- 1X 77mm adapter ring for bracket
- 1X screwdriver and 2 sets of screws with sizes for 2 and 3 slots

O Kit M10 Básico
O kit M10 básico que recebi veio extremamente bem embalado tal como seria de esperar num produto Haida. No kit vem incluído:
- 1X bolsa de arrumação para o suporte com forro em microfibra e com um pequeno bolso para filtros Drop-in.
- 1X suporte alumínio
- 1X Drop-in com CPL
- 1X Drop-in que funciona como vedação para barrar a luz quando não se aplica nenhum outro Drop-in
- 1X anel adaptador 77mm para o suporte
- 1X chave de parafusos e 2 conjuntos de parafusos com tamanhos para 2 e 3 ranhuras

The characteristics of the M10 holder
The M10 filter holder is made of high-quality aluminium, resulting in a tough, durable and extremely lightweight filter holder. The M10 bracket is designed to allow the use of up to 2 filters (100x100mm or 100x150mm) and a Drop-in filter in a full frame camera at a focal length of 16mm without any vignetting.
The bracket allows the use of a third filter slot (100x100mm or 100x150mm) but slight vignetting may occur in some cameras with focal lengths of 16mm or less. I will go deeper into this subject a little further.
The holder has a textured anti-slip strip at the base of the holder frame providing greater grip, reducing the risk of filter breakage.
Featuring a new quick release design, the new M10 filter holder allows quick filter installation and ease of operation. First, we install the adapter ring, then the holder and then we simply place the filters. The holder allows a smooth 360º rotation so that we can align graduated filters.
One of the biggest new features that immediately caught my attention was the Drop-in system, which allows us to drastically reduce the time it takes to install and remove filters!
The new design allows, for example, the Drop-in Polarizer filter (CPL) to be inserted in the holder, which avoids the traditional threading with the inevitable fingertips in addition to the difficult placement and removal with or without filters (100x100mm or 100x150mm) placed.
In terms of user-friendliness, for me, this holder already provides an enormous advantage.

O suporte de filtros M10 é feito de alumínio de elevada qualidade, resultando num suporte de filtros resistente, durável e extremamente leve. O suporte M10 foi projetado para permitir o uso de até 2 filtros (100x100mm ou 100x150mm) e um filtro Drop-in numa câmera full frame a uma distância focal de 16mm sem qualquer vinhetagem.
O suporte permite utilizar uma terceira ranhura para filtros (100x100mm ou 100x150mm) mas poderá ocorrer uma ligeira vinhetagem em algumas câmaras com distâncias focais iguais ou inferiores a 16mm. Aprofundarei este assunto um pouco mais à frente.
O suporte possui uma tira antiderrapante texturizada na base da estrutura do suporte fornecendo maior aderência, reduzindo o risco de quebra dos filtros.
Apresentando um novo design de libertação rápida, o novo suporte de filtros M10 permite a instalação rápida do filtro e facilidade de operação. Primeiro instalamos o anel adaptador, depois o suporte e, em seguida, basta colocarmos os filtros. O suporte permite uma rotação suave de 360º de forma a podermos alinhar filtros graduados.
Uma das maiores novidades e que me chamou imediatamente à atenção, foi o sistema Drop-in que permite reduzir de forma drástica o tempo na colocação e remoção de filtros!

Como disse anteriormente, o design revolucionário do filtro redondo Drop-in torna tudo incrivelmente mais simples de operar. Este tipo de filtro fica bloqueado no lugar com apenas um empurrão e pode ser facilmente removido pressionando as molas vermelhas e puxando o filtro para fora.
É possível utilizar um Drop-in de vedação muito leve e que pode ser inserido na slot quando mais nenhum outro filtro Drop-in estiver a ser utilizado evitando vazamentos de luz.
Tudo muito simples e rápido. Fiquei verdadeiramente fã deste novo design!

CPL Drop-in
The 100mm slots
As I mentioned before, the M10 holder has 2 slots for 100mm filters, but a third slot can be added.
On my Canon EOS R with an EF16-35mm f/2.8L II lens and its Canon RF mount adapter, the third slot causes a slight vignetting with maximum intensity when the mount is placed at a 45° angle.
This vignetting disappears at 17mm or when the mount is not at an angle. With two slots, I did not get any vignetting problem as advertised.
On the holder I received, it was necessary to loosen a little the screws of the slots, with the tool supplied, in order to reduce the amount of pressure necessary for the introduction of filters. It is normal when they are still new.
As I mentioned before, the M10 holder has 2 slots for 100mm filters, but a third slot can be added.

Conclusion
I conclude this analysis with the question I asked at the beginning. Is the M10 system a good solution? In my sincere opinion, I consider this to be a high-quality product that fully complies with what is advertised.
I think that given its price, Haida could have included a cap for the adapter ring avoiding removing it to cover the lens. In any case, it is always possible to purchase this accessory separately for a very low price.
As for the rest, it has undoubtedly been a pleasant surprise in terms of innovation, ease and speed of use, as well as the security I feel when using this system. The attention to detail and the quality of the mechanisms present is remarkable.
Final verdict: I recommend it!

Termino esta análise com a pergunta que fiz no início. É o sistema M10 uma boa solução? Na minha sincera opinião, considero este um produto de elevada qualidade e que cumpre plenamente o que é anunciado.
Julgo que dado o seu preço, a Haida poderia ter incluído uma tampa para o anel adaptador evitando a remoção do mesmo para tapar a lente. Seja como for, é sempre possível adquirir este acessório à parte por um preço bastante baixo.
Quanto ao resto, foi sem sombra de dúvida uma agradável surpresa quer ao nível da inovação, quer ao nível da facilidade e rapidez de utilização, assim como ao nível da segurança que sinto ao utilizar este sistema. É notória a atenção ao pormenor e à qualidade dos mecanismos presentes.
